Drama is possible online – and it’s great! These next 8 weeks are packed with creative, fun, hugely educational and fundamentally confidence-building drama lessons. We hope you will join us to continue the learning, the laughs and the creative connection over the Autumn Term!

Using Zoom you can join our weekly classes, led by our experienced team. It’s a new timetable. ALL NEW AND RETURNING STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN UP – please click here to create/go to your EYT account, select your class and register.

Dramatots (3-5yrs)

Pre-school drama is an excellent place for our youngest students to explore drama through creative play. Parents are invited to join in with sessions as we enrich the students expression and curiosity through different games and exercises.

Dramarama (5-7yrs)

In Dramarama we continue to work in a play based environment whilst encouraging our students to input ideas in our devised stories, with emphasis on working together and developing key interpersonal and listening skills.

Lower Junior (8-10yrs)

Our Lower Junior students begin to learn some simple rules of stagecraft and take more of a lead in the devising we do to create short scenes and stories. We also start to work on some other theatre skills such as improvisation and developing characters, with a short show and share for parents at the end of the term.

Upper Junior (11-13yrs)

Upper Junior students get the change to collaborate more on devising work and are introduced to putting on performances throughout the year, building their confidence to be on the stage or screen along with teaching them the key skills needed to develop their work.

Senior EYT (14+)

Our oldest group at EYT work on a variety of projects where they can apply and develop their creative performance skills. With expert led tuition they lead on the devising process, work with scripts and put on regular performances of their work.

Film Class (10-18yrs)

An in-depth curriculum where students will be taught how to write, shoot, direct and edit a movie on a smartphone. They will learn about genre, screenwriting, camera angles, soundtracks, how to get the best out of their device, and more! The course will take place online, led by our fantastic, award winning film tutor, Paul Barrie.

*Please Note, your child will occasionally need access to two devices during this class: 1 to film and edit on, 1 to join Zoom class on. Prior notice of this will be given.
