EYT is a community where young people excel in theatre and performance, grow in confidence, make lasting friendships and have a ton of fun. Co-led by Scottish BAFTA and RTS winning actor, Shauna Macdonald, and choreographer & musician Jo Jeffries, with an incredible team of committed industry professionals. Your child will find their voice, hone their skills and discover so much more through the performing arts.

Musical Madness

Musical Theatre. Age 8-11yrs & 12-18yrs

Mondays 17:25-19:25, Portobello

NO AUDITION NECESSARY!

As well as learning hit songs and dance routines, you'll be able to show your skills with a showcase twice per year. You don't need any previous experience, just bags of energy and we'll provide the rest- what are you waiting for?

EDINBURGH YOUTH THEATRE AT THE FRINGE!

Every year, EYT brings an exciting new production to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, showcasing the talent of local young performers alongside professional creatives and crew.

Our Fringe productions offer young people an immersive, professional theatre experience, from the rehearsal room to performing for live festival audiences. It's a unique opportunity to discover what it takes to create and stage a professional production. It builds their confidence and develops their skills in a big way.

Known for our inventive and high-energy shows, EYT's Fringe productions consistently attract excellent reviews and enthusiastic audiences. We're proud to give young performers the chance to be part of the world's biggest arts festival, right here in their home city.
