Co-led by Scottish BAFTA and RTS winning actor, Shauna Macdonald, and choreographer & musician Jo Jeffries, with an incredible team of committed industry professionals. Musical Madness

Musical Theatre. Age 8-11yrs & 12-18yrs

NO AUDITION NECESSARY!

As well as learning hit songs and dance routines, you'll be able to show your skills with a showcase twice per year. You don't need any previous experience, just bags of energy and we'll provide the rest- what are you waiting for?

AN ISLAND OF BAD IDEAS: THE TEMPEST! A fast, funny Tempest packed with magic, mischief and spectacularly poor decisions. Edinburgh Youth Theatre returns with a bold 50-minute adaptation performed by a brilliant young ensemble. Critically acclaimed for hugely entertaining, fast-paced, relevant productions that are accessible to audiences aged 8 to 108, the youth company brings shipwrecks, scheming nobles, mischievous spirits and one very chaotic island to life. Expect physical comedy, a foot stomping soundtrack and a storm of bad choices as power, revenge and forgiveness spiral hilariously out of control. Perfect for families, Shakespeare connoisseurs and newcomers alike.

Cinema School Online

Learn the craft of filmmaking with award winning filmmaker, EYCS leader and film lecturer, Paul Barrie.

This course takes place via Zoom across the whole of Scotland. It is a fantastic way to connect with other film makers from different backgrounds and creative experiences. Students will have the opportunity to shoot their own films under the guidance of Edinburgh Youth Cinema School professionals.
